This is a design proposal for a Coral Reef Research Headquarters including a diving center, water recreational facility as well as scientists-in-residence accommodation anchored around the Dibba Rock in Fujairah, UAE. This project is envisaged as an environmental endeavor to protect the rock's lively bio-marine life through the facility's program of 3D printing corals. The water-urban proposal employs creative design strategies such as underwater steel-mesh coral gardens that store and maintain 3D-printed corals until they have matured and can be moved to their permanent homes in the seabed.
