Embracing Aquafarm Proposing sustainable open-water aquaculture using artificial upwelling for a balanced food chain, pollution reduction, and overfishing prevention

  • Year2023

This proposal presents a sustainable open-water aquafarm plan with artificial upwelling. Its goal is to establish a balanced marine food chain, addressing issues of pollution and overfishing.  Expanding into offshore waters promotes biodiversity and reduces disease risks. The building's design mimics coral habitats to attract fish, while the interior is optimized to facilitate fish growth and function as an aquafarm facility. This innovative approach shifts the focus from fish in human spaces to humans in fish habitats, offering a more sustainable future.
