The ArchiMars team designed a permanent and self-sufficient habitat, integrating prefabricated structures and ISRU resources to create a scalable settlement capable of supporting human life on Mars. Before the arrival of the crew, eight automated rovers will land in the Hellas Planitia basin and will proceed with the preparation of the area, collecting the material in situ for the construction of the infrastructures. The habitat consists of three 3D printed interconnected self-supporting domes, equipped with an internal pressurized inflatable module that houses the ECLSS systems.
