Center for research on underwater life and ecosystems, built from materials resulting from chemosynthetic reactions of the hydrothermal system, the deposit of mainly iron sediments, and underground lava.

Each research unit is an extension of a  vent from the hydrothermal field. Its durability comes from its symbiosis ensured by its  function dedicated to scientific research beneficial to scientists and its environment.  Hydrochimbiose occurs in three departments and constitutes an autonomous system in osmosis and symbiosis with its environment.
